"crew-ing" DDD Perth 2024 is a wrap. it's my first time doing DDD, but the early stages especially, quite a few were looking to me for answers to minor issues. but it was all good. running events, i'm very used to .. just never this much walking back and forth (across Optus Stadium).
i didn't really help myself though, with the way i was "loudly" directing attendees to level 2, and likewise during the morning break and lunchtime (if you were there, you know what i mean).
but overall, it was a good experience .. not my usual enjoyment in terms of having the opportunity to spend proper time with juniors to share my stories and experiences. but good in that i get to bump into people i haven't met in awhile, from uni peeps, to the pro peeps .. and have a quick chat.
and since i was busy almost the whole day, i did not get much selfies or photos with all the peeps i bumped into. hence .. just posting some good ones here, instead of all the photos i took (in case i miss anyone).
finally, and most importantly .. a huge thank you to Julianne for allowing me this opportunity to be part of the crew this year.
