so yeah. i'll be part of the event crew for DDD Perth 2024 this weekend, and it's their 10th anniversary (for the Perth "branch")

there is a volunteer queue, and when i messaged Julianne yesterday morning, she did say if someone can't make it, i might be able to be included. but right after i registered myself, she sent me an email to join the induction last night. so basically .. she kinda pulled some strings for me.

there were some familiar faces at the induction, especially from the last Health Hackathon, and they were telling me how some of their mates were still in the queue. guess i was uhm, "lucky".

though i reckon it's mainly cos Julianne did know of the video i posted which showed me "eventing" at the last hackathon.
