the City of Perth Library .. like holy fluff they are awesome! i decided to try their "Item Request" feature yesterday - for a book i wanted to read, which was the 2nd installment of a series i recently read (from them) which they don't have on shelf.

woke up this morning, and somehow decided to just have a look (with no expectation), and .. lo and behold, a message saying they now have it on order. like that was quick!

your local library. go support them!

ps. yeah no, i won't go off on their web app styling. it's functional, and because of this great service, i'll uhm, hold off on "first world problem complaining" for now.
