my first ever black DM/Solovair boots in 28 years, and my second ever Solovair .. an 8 eye steel toe derby boot.

my first Solovair though, hardly needed any breaking in period. but after lacing this new pair, i reckon it's gonna take about 3 to 4 weeks to break this in.

ps. i've started to straight lace all my other DMs and Solovair, but it just don't seem to "work" with this pair while it's still fresh out of the box - kinda difficult to really tighten it up while it's not broken in yet. oh well
