are you really working an event if .. you're simply having fun?

last night volunteering at Curtin Bunuru Graduation Ceremony 7, which was quite the stark contrast to the shift last Tuesday .. tonight was cold* vs last week's heat. like, we all ended up needing a jumper.

but i had a great time, partly i suppose after a good half day at work (onsite), followed by an unplanned catch up with NoBS James and Tom, and then having an almost full roster turning up - with most of the team staying through the ceremony, including me.

highlight for me was at the "after party" when a family member of a graduate came over to give me a hug because an impromptu video i took of them at the Alumni photo wall turned out really good.

and i do need to apologise to Curtin Alumni though .. for ignoring all their emails since 2003. i'm glad i finally answered the call last year, and a huge thank you to Tamara and Georgia, and the rest of the team from last week and last night, for making it worth my time.
