so yeah .. i recently accepted a challenge to cultivate a new team .. so it'll be a busy next few months, laying down a strong foundation.

but what of my former team?

well, i still have regular coffee and dinner with some of them - but it's not easy for the rest cos we all have very different schedules now. hence, i'm so glad before i left .. i managed to give everyone, individually, a snapshot of my notes of their interview with us.

it sounds like a cheap farewell gift, but those notes meant a lot, and i was glad they appreciated it. some even remarked how attentive i was (from my notes), and especially how it reflected how we made them feel comfortable enough to say some of the stuff they said in the interview.

but yeah, it's not going to be easy .. but really excited to tackle the next few months. and to my former team - let's do that big gathering we wanted, soon!
