one year ago, today, i woke up and decided .. "nah, i don't want to be buying books the way i used to buy comics". but i was really into my reading habit rediscovery. so i googled, dug out some basic needed documentation, walked into my local library the moment they opened that day (it was a Saturday), and signed up for a membership.

best "purchase" i ever made.

since then, i have loaned 111 books (to-date) - 2 of which were new books (then) i requested for, spent time on many weekends either browsing or simply chilling with a book at the outdoor level, and have had a number of meetings there too.

happy one year library membership anniversary to me, and .. go support your local library - it's more than just about books, it's also a safe-space community!
